      Cherokee Pride's Cookie

This is my new siamese sable herd buck! I'm very proud of this little guy, this little buck is the result of crossing my catwalk bred doe to my broken herd buck.  Cookie has that really awesome siamese sable coloring with great contrast really gorgeouse. He brings great siamese sable coloring to table with that flare of gorgeouse broken markings. My broken lines are continuing to produce consistant patterns and I am very excited to see how cookie produces with some of my doe's in the future.

  • 4 lionhead bucks for sale! 6 weeks old. Adorable little kits that love to play and Jump all over with glee! They will make excellent friendly pets.  Colors include orange, chestnut, and tort. These bucks were out of a doe I had been using to help clean up ears, but unfortunately she didn't have much mane and seemed to be passing the short manes even when crossed with heavy mane producing bucks. These guys, just didn't hold up to my standards, but will make wonderfull pets. Reduced Price $25 No Pedigree!  (I've been working with them, doing show training and handling, Note these are not show quality, but it helps to keep them gentle and used to being handled.)

Cherokee Pride is a small rabbitry specializing in show and breeding quality lionhead rabbits! We are located about 60 miles south of Kansas City, MO. I do not allow visitors out to the rabbitry to help aid in the prevention and spread of disease! My rabbits are very healthy and I take every precaution to keep it that way. I do my best to update the site and appreciate any feed back or comments! If you would like to add a little peice of cherokee pride to your herd, just drop me an e-mail - cherokeepriderabbitry@yahoo.com I also keep a reservation list, e-mail me to be put on it (please include contact info and what it is you are looking for)

I keep a small quality herd of lionhead rabbits and breed for my own breeding program! I only sell what I do not need for my own breeding project and that still compliments the breed and is a true asset to the future of this breed. I beleive in breeding heavy and culling harder! But always try not to be too hasty in my culling practices, I take every life I create very seriously and make difficult decisions only after scrutinzed thought. I also beleive in linebreeding and use this breeding technique in my own program to further improve my lines, but feel it is also necessary to outcross with different lines to correct faults and to introduce certain charachteristics that may not be present in my line.

I am currently working on Brokens, Chestnuts, and Siameses Sable right now! In the future I would like to  work with Chocolate and BEW, but my true love is and always will be brokens! Although I have certain colors within my rabbitry that I am aiming goals for I do not breed specificaly for color. I first and foremost always breed for quality! When I get an off color that wows me with quality I never hesitate to use them as brood stock. I am an AOV supporter, I'm automatically drawn to the out of the norm colors and feel AOV colors should not be pushed aside. Afterall some of the AOV colors are now COD colors, It takes a strong and dedicated breeder to breed AOV colors. Never be affraid to go against the grain!

Special dedication and thanks goe's out to my many friends amongst the lionhead breeding world! Thank you for accepting me into this breed with open arms and can't wait to compete nationaly with you all!

Michelle - Thank you so much, you are a true friend and excellent mentor you have taught me so much!
