CHEROKEE PRIDE

Cherokee Pride is a small rabbitry specializing in show and breeding quality lionhead rabbits! We are located about 60 miles south of Kansas City, MO. I do not allow visitors out to the rabbitry to help aid in the prevention and spread of disease! My rabbits are very healthy and I take every precaution to keep it that way. I do my best to update the site and appreciate any feed back or comments! I keep a small quality herd of lionhead rabbits and breed fro my own breeding program! I only sell what I do not need for my breeding project and yet what still compliments the breed and is a true asset to the future of this breed. I beleive in breeding heavy and culling harder, but I always try not to be too hasty in my culling practices. I try to take every life I create very seriously and make difficult dicisions. I also beleive in line breeding and use this breeding technique in my own program to further improve my lines. However I also feel it is necessary to outcross with different lines to correct faults and to introduce certain charachteristics that may not be present in my line already. I breed for a well boned stocky lionhead. I like to see and overall balance on my kits and jrs. and am focusing on breeding lionheads that will keep nice full manes into adult hood. I'm ever improving my stock and have added in certain lines to bring quality up. Can't wait to hit the show table's next year.
